I purchased this model through HSN. I works well and is very easy to maintain weekly with water and vinegar. Instructions are very clear. However, I selected this humidifier so that that I could use a warm mist. This way, the cool mist would not counteract efforts to heat my house. The heating element is easily activated with the push-button. However, it takes quite a while for the water to "heat." The temperature of the "cool" mist is cold. The temperature of the "warm" mist is cool. I am very disappointed. The only reason I will keep this unit is the ease in maintenance. However, I would never purchase another Hunter again because I feel it is false advertising to claim a warm mist when the difference between the two mists is barely discernible.

This is a great humidifier . This is the second I have purchased and both work just fine .i would buy this again if I ever needed another . The price is good and received it fast , so don't hesitate you will be very pleased .

After a few days using this humidifier I noticed that everything in the house was covered in white dust.

The little demineralization tablets that came with the humidifier don't work. Even though I used them everything continued covered in white dust. Then, after about 3 months of use it stopped completely.

I'm returning it to Menards.
