Although it is a tight fit for the Sunbeam SCM3609, it can be squeezed on and then works really well. The filter soaks up water from the humidifier at a goodly rate I can run through one of the two tanks in a day and the room humidity goes up quite quickly. I don't notice any odd odors at all. The vendor charged me only one shipping and handling fee for four filters.
