Ionic Silver Cube

This is pricey, but does the job for a whole year, and it does it better than some of the other humifier tank cleaning products. It can be used in any humifier tank.

I purchased this filter in April 2012. I know it's meant for humidifiers, but I have a large indoor fountain and was becoming weary of changing the water weekly, so I thought it was worth the $25 to try it. After all, moving water is moving water... be it in a humidifier or pumped through a fountain. This little cube has lasted an entire year plus, and I'm back to order my second one. It's done a nice job of keeping the water in the basin clear and for the most part, free of that slimy gunky stuff, as well as cut down on the mineral build-up.
