These came promptly and look just like what they will replace. They are in fact 6-7/8" by 7-1/8 by 1", not 6-1/2" by 7-1/4" by 1" like described. Hopefully they will fit in the slot and be fine. Not quite ready to replace the old one yet. Wish me luck.

Broksonic Hybrid Ultrasonic Humidifier and Diffuser

I was so excited to get this from Brookstone because of the good reviews and it looks so beautiful. However, it is a bit loud for us to put in the bedroom while sleeping. I don't know what other reviewers think of the sound of the motor but it bothers both me and my husband so much that we have to turn it off after 15 minutes of us trying to get some sleep. The motor makes this power noise for a minute then shut off for a second and turn back on again and repeat it constantly. It also has 3 lights on the bottom of the unit for "on/off", "medium/high" and "2hr/4hr" that's like yellow green and red. You can hardly notice them when the room is lighted but when we shut off the light for bed, these little lights shine like crazy. We finally decided to put it in the living room instead since it won't bother us if we are just watching movie. Over all still a pretty humidifier but it won't work for the bedroom if you have an issue with noise and lights in the bedroom.

Most beautiful minimal designed humidifier I've ever owned or seen.

Easy to use and fill.

If on the high setting will last you one night's sleep. On the low setting you will get more than 2 nights without refilling.

I don't feel that it really pumps out a ton of moisture that I am used to with other humidifiers unless it's on the high setting.

If you like clean minimal design instead of a bulky ugly machine, this is for you.

I am generally happy with it.

The one problem that it has is when you take the cover off to refill, some of the condensed water drips out and you need to wipe those few drops off the floor or the table it's sitting on.

Handy, even set on high runs a long time. It's been helpful for winter dryness. It blends in well to the home space as it looks like a vase on a table.

An OEM filter from Lasko cost $4.95 + $1.95 = $6.90

FILTER MEDIUM

This filter is the correct size, however the filter medium is different from the OEM filter medium. This filter, when wet & not dripping held 13.5 oz of water

The Lasko OEM filter held 16.25 oz of water when wet & not dripping.

I'm assuming the filter that holds the most water is going to put out more humid moisture into the air. I believe this filter will limit & or restrict the efficiency of the Lasko Model 1128

Advertising on the box proclaims this filter as 150% More Strength.....compared to what? What does "strength" have to do with filters?

The advertising also proclaims "EXTENDED LIFE"....compared to what?

The filters we ordered are new and in sealed packages. They are exactly what we ordered and fit in our humidifier.

Filter appears to be same as what came with the humidifier. Fits like its supposed to with no issues. Can't ask for anything more.

These are generic filters, the dimensions of the filter are correct to fit into the holder but they are not as THICK. These filters do not seem to give up the water as easily as the original Lasko filter that came with my humidifier.

Stay away from these ones and buy only the original Lasko filters...

wrong filter. I don't really know what else to say its really hard and somewhat deceptive when looking at it online. I don't have the original box or the original paperwork for my humidifier but teh filter was plainly too small
