On receipt the humidifier was missing the magnet. An email to the distributor resolved it, and I received a replacement at no charge within the week.

I live in a dry climate, and have found that it requires supplemental humidification to keep it at the correct level. In addition, the adhesive on both the hygrometer and the humidifier puck have failed. Any given time I open the lid, it's quite likely one or both have fallen off and into the cigars on the tray below.

Overall, if it had a larger humidifier unit and reliable adhesive, I'd give it 5 stars as the box is beautifully made.

Holmes HWF100-UC2 Humidifier Filter, 2 Pack

This filter fits a Holmes humidifier that is no longer made. The device still works perfectly, but finding these filters is increasingly difficult. Yep. I'm a fan.

These filters came within a few days. I'd shopped around and these were some of the most reasonably priced I found. They work fine as far as I can tell and my humidifier is making life during the dry Nebraska winter much better.

While the item shown and the description says it is a Holmes filter, what was shipped was a clone filter. It can work only if you pull the mounting clip of an old filter. While I suspect the filter will work, the vendor was certainly misleading in their description.

These wicks for my humidifier worked well, although it was annoying to replace tham every month. The humidifier broke, so I don't need these any longer.

I bought a used humidifier, in rough shape at that, cleaned it up and replaced the filters and voila! The filters were exactly the right replacements I needed.

Slant/Fin Germicidal Ultraviolet 3-1/2-Watt Replacement Bulb

Bulb needs replacement after @ 2000 hours of use. The bulb needs to be the one designed for the Slant/Fin humidifier, not any old UV bulb. It has a small bead of metal (? mercury) in the bulb that acts as an activator. Once replaced, the small yellow light goes out on the humidifier indicating that it is working. So far, it is working well. The problem is finding it on the internet. Prices range from $13.00 to $24.00

This product works well. I'm glad that Amazon sells these bulbs because I couldn't find them in regular stores!!

I've bought a pair of these lamps after the warning lights began blinking on some of the humidifiers we have at home New York gets very dry in winter. The replacement process was very easy, and these new lights have been working fine ever since.
