General Aire 1137 Legacy Series Power Humidifier

Buy General Aire 1137 Legacy Series Power Humidifier Now
I've done commercial and residential heating and air since '97 and have installed literally 100s of these, maybe more. Truth be told there is no difference between this and the other powered humidifiers. They all work off the same principle. These are very easy to service and simple to install and are my favorite just because parts are easy to get. The media pads are available all over the web as well as most hardware stores. As for the other reviews indicating the massive water waste, they are not installing this properly. Any central humidifier (as in mounted to a furnace) needs the control wires to be tied into the heating circuit on the control board. In fact, most newer furnaces if not all of them also have contacts for landing the 110V wires on so that it can only run during a heating cycle (usually marked "HUM"). Set up properly, this unit will not use that much water. Running this humidifier when the furnace is not in a heating cycle (not just the fan running, but actually heating) is a complete waste of power and waternot to mention how much faster you will wear out the pads.

We've had this unit for over 10 years, aside from changing the filter it's been maintenance free. A proper installation will include a airflow microswitch that turns the on the fan and allows water flow only when the heater's blower is on. If you don't have this then your installation is not complete and you'll waste a lot of water. During the spring and summer I unplug the unit, shut the water supply off to it and remove and clean the filter compartment which is easy to do.During the winter when quests come over they all notice the lack of static electricity along with the fact the air just feels better and it's easier to breathe.

Boveda Micro Humidipak 62% 12 Pack

I'll never go without some version of these again. A must-have for DIY cultivators who need their medicine to stay viable.
Honeywell HCM-1000 3 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier

So, we've now grabbed a Honeywell (Humidifier number 8). There is a handle on both the top and bottom of the tank, so it's easy to fill and easy to place into the humidifier. The 3 fan speeds are evenly set (one humidifier had 2 "barely breathing" settings followed by "jet turbine.") The humidity setting is a nice touch, but we usually set it for full blast anyways. The fan grill easily pops off so you can clean the fan blades. The water basin is separate from the motor assembly, so you can conceivably toss the whole bottom frame into the dishwasher to clean out the usual water deposit build-up that occurs with humidifiers. The filter is pretty large and it is not pressed against any of the sides, so NO LEAKS. It's been happily humming for over a month now with no issues.
Yah...I'm happy! I'm writing this as I buy a couple more for the rest of the rooms. It's a great price for a surprisingly capable humidifier.
JimWe own two of these, and have had no problems with either of them for the past 5 years. For us, they are perfect in the winter for our children's rooms and provide a consistent amount of humidity, a level which we are able to choose. There are 3 fan levels which determines how much humidity is "blown" into the air. The lowest fan level is a soft hum, with the highest being rather loud. In addition, you can customize the level of moisture control; from maximum to light. The machine stops once dry (but remains on) and an indicator light comes on reminding you to either shut it off or refill. Stock up on filters and know that you will need to refill the machine every other night (at least) when used at the medium level of humidity and fan.

This Honeywell humidifier works great. I live in the Northeast and bought this humidifier at the beginning of winter this year. It took almost one full week before it reached optimal humidity but it is now so much more comfortable in my house. I've bought other brands at similar price points and this is by far the best. To extend the life of the filter use the Protec cleaning cartridge.Read Best Reviews of Honeywell HCM-1000 3 Gallon Cool Mist Humidifier Here
The unit was bought to humidify an average size bedroom. It does it well, (with the door closed) provided it is run on medium speed; low speed just doesn't cut it. The unit is turned on a few hours before bedtime and runs the night. The sound level at medium is quite acceptable as I like a bit of "white noise" to get to sleep. I can hear the TV at a lowish volume with the unit on medium, if that helps anyone gauge how noisy medium is. The noise level at high is too loud.
They offer a water treatment product to help breakdown minerals in the water. I was unable to find it locally or on Amazon, but the Kaz website sells it for about $3.00 for a small bottle, plus shipping. I thought it was too pricey and hope the filter lasts the season, at which time I'll discard the filter.

To its credit, it is compact and pretty quiet. I run it only overnight and a full tank of water lasts 2 or 3 nights. The major flaw is it occasionally overflows at the base when not in operation. Therefore, I have to remove the water dispenser every morning to prevent a surprise puddle of water on the floor during the day.Friday, August 29, 2014

Easy install (did it myself) and bought an extra or 2 for the future. I ruined the previous filter by accidentally "washing off" the coating on the filter.... That isn't "build up" or hard water deposits left from use, it is supposed to be there to help with the water absorb and distribute the water to the humidifier more evenly. Bought this for my little sister's room. Its about 200 square feet. It great because there is no filter just add water and a fragrance if you like. The night light option is awesome. U do need to put it on a table or something higher if you want the mist to be closer to the bed. You can direct where the mist go. It looks nice and it's a decent humidifier for the price.A few cons though. It's only "silent" up to about a quarter turn on the knob. Any more and you hear water dripping from the mist condensating inside the unit. That same condensated water also sits on top of the white tank part so you'll always get the surface the humidifier's on a little wet as you take the tank off to refill it.

CALIBER III DIGITAL HYGROMETER 4 CIGAR HUMIDOR

i have purchased a few hygrometers to finally buy this and finally got what i was looking for, something thats actually accurate.I also like the magnet mount.
Buy CALIBER III DIGITAL HYGROMETER 4 CIGAR HUMIDOR Now
This is a fantastic little piece of equipment, and the price absolutely cannot be beat!Because of the cheap prices of most small hygrometers, I actually bought a couple of different ones. Well, this is the winner, hands down. It's incredibly accurate (both temperature and humidity) right out of the box, no calibration required.
Of course, the first thing I did upon receiving my hygrometers was test out the accuracy. The Caliber III was perfect right off the bat. The HygroSet II was the next closest (but not close enough), and finally the Analog Hygrometer was pretty far off. After calibrating the other two, they were much closer, but the Caliber III was the only one to stay consistent and accurate 100% of the time.
Considering the fact that it's actually cheaper than the HygroSet II, what's not to like about it? Well, okay maybe it's just slightly on the large side for some. I personally think it's fine. It's really not that big, but I guess there are smaller ones out there. However, as far as I'm concerned it is definitely the most accurate.
Get it and be happy! :)

Warning: My Caliber III Digital Hygrometer reads much higher than actual relative humidity level (approximately 10% higher than my other calibrated lab units). If you require accurate relative humidity measurements, I would not recommend this unit--especially for critical applications (fine instruments for example).

The product has major flaws and are not usable for me,,I see I'm not the only one with this problem,I really think they are selling used one's cause my batteries went dead in two days and the product looked used,You should only buy these things from a reputable place that just deals with them,,I called about it and they sent new batteries but the thing still did not work right ,the humidity gauge was off by over 10%. The temp gauge seems to take too long for a correct reading.....I really would like me credit back.500-Cigar End Table Humidor w Solid Wood in Maple Veneer Finish

A couple of important things to be aware of with this item are...
1. The way the outlet is situated in the back causes the shelf to extend slightly too far so that the door will not shut completely, and of course also blocks the outlet. This is easily remedied by simply placing the shelf either above or below the outlet, however it is a limitation to be aware of. The way the shelf is situated in the picture will probably not work for you.
2. Also concerning the outlet, there is a frame around it that unfortunately does not provide an air tight seal but DOES however make accommodating most ac adapters impossible. Anything larger than the width of the outlet will not be able to be inserted completely without a secondary adapter or extension cord, so if you're using a "cigar oasis" style humidifier that is not battery operated you'll have to either use a secondary adapter with your ac adapter, OR use the ribbon cord and simply take the outlet out of the equation. (Using the ribbon cord was my solution, since there is plenty of room to run the ribbon cord through the gap between the outlet and the surrounding wood frame, so I'm not using the outlet at all, but I am saving quite a bit of room by not having an ac adapter inside the humidor.)
3. The seal is extremely poor. It is basically no more air tight than any normal cabinet. (Why there is a label inside the door that indicates "Sure Seal Technology" is beyond me, because I'm absolutely sure there is no seal whatsoever.) In addition, as previously stated, there is a significant gap surrounding the outlet creating leakage there as well. As annoying as this issue is when buying a humidor (which if nothing else is supposed to be air tight for God's sake!), it is easily remedied with the use of weather stripping that can be purchased at any hardware store. I used the thinnest I could find (1/8" rubber) and ran it along the inside of the drawer and cabinet door leaving the magnets exposed. The drawer still clicks into place and the cabinet door still locks easily, but any more than 1/8" will be too thick. To seal the outlet, I used a plastic foam outlet sealer (again, available at any hardware store) which is admittedly a bit of a hodge podge fix, given how the outlet is set up, but it works fine and is forgiving enough to allow me to run the ribbon cord through the gap without creating leakage. There are certainly cleaner ways to seal the outlet for the perfectionists out there, but I'll leave that to you.
Ultimately, I'm very satisfied with this purchase, even with the extra work it took to make it functional. End table humidors are typically extremely expensive. (Make sure to check out cheaphumidors.com) This is the most reasonably priced humidor I've found, it looks nice (even if it's not a show piece), and it does the job. Once it's set up, sealed and humidified, allow about two weeks for it to "season" and stabilize before loading it up with your stock.

Soleus Air PH3-12R-03, Portable Air Conditioner/Heater/Dehumidifier/Fan, 12,000 BTUs

After the terrible process of having to return a damaged portable AC unit of another brand just a week earlier, I was relieved to see when this one arrived at my door in rather robust packaging. Lifting it out of its "easy open" outer box and inner cardboard crate, I was able to observe its features in person for the first time. The multi-color display is a nice touch; the bright VFD display provides simple animations of the unit's current function, as well as a basic clock (used for setting the on/off timer), and the current temperature setting. The remote control sits in a holster on the back of the unit. I found the remote to be a bit bland, with all the buttons but the power button the same size and no distinction of the most frequently used buttons (i.e. temperature, mode) from the less frequently used extras (i.e. sleep mode, Celsius/Fahrenheit setting). The use of the remote is limited anyways since the display on the unit sits facing upward, preventing you from seeing what you are doing unless you are hovering above it.
Installation is pretty straightforward. The user's manual includes several photographs of the installation process, which doesn't differ much from any single-hose portable AC on the market. You simply screw the hose into the adapters and attach the adapters onto the back of the unit and onto the adjustable panel which you close in your window.
So now the important part: how it works. I found the unit to perform quite well. The AC function is plenty cool, and with three fan settings, you can adjust the level of output (and noise) to the current conditions. The heat pump also works well, and I was impressed with the fact that the unit waits to start blowing air into the room until the heat pump has begun generating warm air. That way, on a cold winter's day you won't get a rush of cold air in your face while the unit starts up. After your set temperature is reached, the unit shuts down completely (including the fan). Perhaps handy for some people is an auto mode which automatically heats if the temperature is below 68°F, dehumidifies if the temperature is between 68°F and 80°F, and cools if over 80°F. There also is an oscillation feature which helps circulate the air into the room.
As others have said, this AC unit is not super quiet. While in fan-only mode, the noise is minimal, but while heating, cooling, or dehumidifying, the exhaust fan in the back of the unit adds a considerable amount more. While nobody will be fooled into thinking a jet is landing, some may find it difficult to sleep with the unit in the room if it is doing anything but circulating air.
Just another quick note about draining the water bucket... be prepared to empty it no less often than most air conditioning units, regardless of what the manufacturer claims it can evaporate through the hose. I also agree with others who have said that the drainage plug is really close to the ground, so you may want to place it on a hard surface or elevate it slightly to assist in the drainage process. You do get a short hose and drip pan in the box to help you empty the moisture into a larger pan, but you may want to keep a towel handy as well.
Overall, this air conditioner/heat pump unit is a economical choice if you need all-season comfort in an area of your home. Various room-size estimations abound, some even rating this unit up to 500 sq. ft. My suggestion is that you use this unit for no more than a single large room, as you will probably see much worse performance if you try to heat or cool an entire floor with it. But for supplemental heating or cooling, you really cannot go wrong with the Soleus Air PH3-12R-03.I had this AC unit for less than 1 months and it now SCREAMS! due to a bad pump. The manufacturer said they would "look at it" but I had to pay the shipping cost to ship to them in CA. Not worth the cost of the shipping, Total waste of money. NEVER buy from Soleus! Crap manufacturing, cheap plastic parts. poor warranty service. $400 just thrown away for something that only work for 2 months at best! I'd give zero stars if I could! DO NOT BUY, you have been warned!!!!!!

I just bought this 3 weeks ago. After numerous window units I thought I would try a portable unit so I could direct the air where I wanted it. First of all this unit was difficult to install. The directions were terrible. I have had a lot less problem with my previous window units. 12,000 BTU's should cool my entire living/dining room. It works okay if you are directly in front of it, but 8-10 feet away just so so. It is as loud as any window unit I have had. It does not cool down to lowest temp so compressor is always on. After running it quite a bit for three days I just had to drain the condensation holding tank which was an experience in and of itself! The plug is on the bottom about a half inch from the floor. It is below the hose so you have to remove that. When you remove the cap, there is no type of plug, so the water immediately begins pouring into the pitiful plastic drainage tray that is provided that holds about 1/2 cup at the most. With a 1.5 liter tank to drain you need to also have a bucket or a bowl and plenty of towels as I found it impossible to stop the flow trying to empty the tray of water into the bucket. Long story short, don't waste your money. Way to expensive for the hassle. I'm going to go have a beer and make up with my dogs who are quivering outside after hearing my yelling of obscenities during the drainage process.Got this unit today and for some reason the unit itself was covered in grease, something like a motor oil.Anyway, set it up and powered on, after 2 hr running, the unit was blow AIR only even on COLD mode.
Called Amazon to get unit return and they told me I will have to pay $60 $80 return shipping charge for defective unit.
I will never buy and electric unit from Amazon again. I never have any problem to get full refund from other online retailer.

We purchased this product in February, hoping to use it as a heater in the winter and AC for the summer. However, the heat could never come on even when the temperature was set at 80 degree. We contacted the dealer and the manufacture for technical support, it simply would not work. The manufacture agreed to take this unit back and sent us another one. But the new one they sent us had the same problem. We experienced lengthy email, phone conversations back and forth, they just could not make their "heater" to generate any heat. They promised to send us another one, but we decided to return this product. The end story is that we were charged for both way shipping twice for the two defective products. Thus, I strongly suggest stay away from this product, also stay away from this dealer and this manufacture!!!WEB WWICK Humidifier Register Replacement Wick Filters, 2-Pack

Oreck Air Purifier Tabletop XL Professional (Silver)

I purchased three Oreck purifiers at the same time and notice very little difference in the air quality in my home.
Things I like:
The "silent" mode is great for sleeping (when the unit isn't popping and snapping). The design is attractive.
Things I don't like:
1) The rapid popping/snapping sound (like a bug zapper) the units make when the cell starts getting dirty. As another reviewer wrote the rapid popping scared his poor dog so badly that it wet the floor. The noise is VERY annoying. You either clean it right away or turn it off because the snapping persists until something is done. Oreck recommends thorough cell cleaning every two weeks, but between the three units I have to do "quick cleanings" on at least one of them almost every day. Quick cleaning requires pulling the main cell and running a Q-Tip over the wires in front of the collection plates.
2) The Oreck infomercial misrepresents the product; the consumer pays a healthy price for this purifier believing there will be no additional costs associated with the purchase. They advertise "No Filter Replacement" yet there is an "optional" charcoal odor absorbing filter that does need to be replaced if the unit is used to control odors. The cost of that filter at the Oreck site is $49.99.
According to my local Oreck store, the cell doesn't get real clean if only soaked in soapy water. The "optional" cell cleaner is strongly recommended to optimize the cell performance and extend the cell life. Each can of cell cleaner is $14.99. The local Oreck store recommended cleaning with cell cleaner, soaking in soapy water, and then cleaning again with more cell cleaner.
3) The collection plates in the main cell don't hold a lot of dust, and the odor absorbing filter is too small to catch much. I question how much dust is being pumped back into the air after it is "purified."
*Note: Several reviewers have suggested I use the units in extreme conditions. However, I live in a brand new residence; I don't smoke and have three cats so the operating conditions are far from extreme.
14 MONTH UPDATE:
After using the units for about 14 months, two of the three original machines I purchased died and are happily disposed of. The one remaining unit seems to be working well and actually goes weeks without popping and snapping. I no longer purchase the Oreck cell cleaner, following the advice of another reviewer I now use Clorox Cleanup.
I replaced one of the failed Oreck units with a Honeywell 50250 99.97% Pure HEPA Round Air Purifier. I replaced the second failed Oreck with the Honeywell 18155 SilentComfort Permanent, True HEPA Air Purifier this unit is quiet and works so well I purchased two of them. They are all larger floor models that require some space, but they outperform the Oreck units in every way, and are a great value at Amazon. The charcoal pre-filters cost $9.00 to $10.00 to replace and are well worth it when I see the garbage the Honeywell pulls out of the air.I didnt buy this from Amazon, I bought it directly from Oreck about 3 yrs ago. The main reason why I think you should not buy this is because of the trouble cleaning it. It is practically impossible to get it clean of tar. I bought this primarily to clean the air of cigarette smoke. The late night commercials I saw before purchasing this showed people just rinsing it under water and they were done. WOW I wish! I paid full price a few years ago ( I think I actually paid 500$ and was supposed to get a free small vac with it, I never received the Vac). I have tried just about every thing to clean the tar out of the collector cell, for example bathroom cleaners of all sorts, laundry detergent, oven cleaner, degreaser. I have tried soaking the cell all day in hot water and with full strength cleaning products, and even tried washing the cell in the dishwasher, but nothing works very well. And you cant use a cloth to clean between the fin's of the collector cell because of some hair thin wires and the very close spacing of the fins.
This air cleaner works ok when brand new, but cleaning this thing is a major pain, because you also have to completely dry the cell(as mentioned in the manual or you could damage the unit), I use a fan to help dry the cell after cleaning, and it takes all day because there are places on the cell where water gets in that are covered. As other reviewers have mentioned the cell HAS to be cleaned OFTEN, or else you get the very loud bug zapper noises(and sparks) that get worse and worse the dirtier it gets.
Humidity also affects the unit, the more humid it is the more it makes the zapping and electrical buzzing sounds.
I actually came here to the Amazon website to look for a new air cleaner, and I saw this model for sale, and I felt I had to give a review. I dont usually bother giving reviews(I think I am going to start giving more reviews because of this thing), and I hardly ever return items but I wish I could return this, it was a big waste of money and TIME trying to clean it. I have learned to always look at product reviews by other customers (like this one) before making a purchase if at all possible. Hopefully this helps someone else with making a decision between products.

I bought 2 of these at the same time, one for each floor of my house. Paid top dollar also, as these units are expensive.Problems:
1. The cells cannot be cleaned no matter what you do. I 1st tried the soap/water.....cells still dirty. I then was scammed into buying their foam cleaner......2 bottles of it. Still didn't clean the cells. Then I tried soap/water, then cleaner, then soap/water. Didnt work at all. On top of that, the foam cleaner bottle is empty after a few cleanings. Extremely expensive!!!
Here is an easier way to imagine these cells. If you've ever had an Ionic Pro, or something with blades that needed cleaning, you know that you have to put manual force into them, along with some serious household cleaners. Now imagine trying to clean them with NO manual force. Impossible.
2. When you give up and put the 90% dirty cell back in. It will snap/pop/crackle after a day or two. And it is extremely loud! Enough to wake you up or overpower a movie with surround sound.
This is an extremely flawed product that should have never been on the market. I'm surprised that an authority on business practices hasn't looked into this.
When I saw a few of the good reviews, I had to speak up. I'm not going to allow sockpuppets mislead other people.

Four years ago, I suddenly developed allergies. The allergies caused severe breathing problems (I couldn't draw a full deep breath without effort) and because of the allergies, I also has chest pains whenever the breathing issues started. While I did start daily medication, I found that the symptoms frequently overrode the medicine. My allergist recommended an air purifier for my home. A friend recommended Oreck, and I went to a local Oreck store for my purchase. I ended up buying the silver tabletop model and a tower floor model. I have a two story home, and I use the tower model on the first floor (1800 sq ft) and the table top on the second floor (800 sq ft). Both units covers their respective areas without problems. The units come fully assembled and ready to use. Just take them home and plug them in. I purchased them one evening, and by the next morning, I could tell a huge difference in my breathing within my house. The models are quiet and unobtrusive. You can hear them running, but its background noise like your refrigerator or air conditioner would make. They're sleekly designed and don't stand out, however, the table top models are large, so they do take up some space. I use my tabletop model in my bedroom, and it sits on top of my dresser and pretty much covers the whole top.
Both units contain what Oreck calls a Truman cell, and this cell is what cleans the air. The air passes first through a screen, then through the Truman cell, and finally, through a carbon filter. All three of these parts remove easily for cleaning. The Truman Cell should be cleaned with Oreck Cell cleaner. One can of cleaner will set you back $15, but you can clean your cell five times with it (I spray one end of the cell, let it set for five minutes and rinse, then turn it over and spray the other side and let it set for five minutes, then rinse the whole cell thoroughly, then I set the units in front of a table top fan to dry). The units comes with a red indicator light that shows when the unit needs to be cleaned. The unit usually averages needing cleaning every two to three weeks.
The units are so easy to clean and disassemble. The Truman cell lifts out, the carbon filter lifts out and the screen lifts out. All of that filters the air before it blows through the motor and out the top of the unit through the adjustable fins (tabletop model). If you properly clean the Truman cell and the screen, you can blow out the carbon filter with canned air, and the unit will run perfectly until it needs cleaning again. I also take a damp paper towel and wipe the unit down as it does get covered in fine particles (almost like a powder). Once a year, I take both units to the Oreck store for cleaning. My tower model came with five free yearly cleanings, and my tabletop came with none. Last time I checked, the cleanings cost $39, and they replace the carbon filter when they clean the unit.
Oreck guarantees all their units for years (different periods of time for different units), but anything that goes wrong they will fix without question during that period. I've had both of my units for four years now. The tabletop model has been totally problem free. The tower has had the Truman cell replaced once and has one wire on the Truman cell replaced...both times without charge or fuss.
These units saved me, literally. Once the purifiers started running, all, and I mean ALL of the symptoms left. Yeah, the machines have to be kept clean, and the cell cleaner costs a lot, but being able to easily breath in my own home is worth it.

I have owned this for about two years now (got it as a gift), and I can now say that it simply doesn't worknot even a bit.Since I live in a very dusty apartment, I was more than happy to get this to help keep the dust levels down around my TV and laptop, and was initially impressed by what was promised and said by the Oreck family on TV infomercials and QVC.
I was delighted to get this Oreck, because of the dangers that dust levels can have with expensive computers, and the promises made.
Dust build up is what caused my laptop to die, and I wanted to avoid that experience again.
After having this unit on 24 hours a day for two years now, and running in the three different modes, I would have expected my dust levels to be almost non-existent, but sadly, this is not the case at all. Not even close.
Nothing has changed at all since owning this, except for the much higher energy bills that I now have each month.
To be honest, I really feel like this is a scam. David Oreck and his family have said that this will clean an a entire standard-sized room 2-3 times a hour when the unit is left on.
This is a complete lie.
Since giving this unit time to work for these couple of years, I can tell you that this simply is totally untrue.
I still have the same amount of dust in my apartment as I had before I got this, and there's no reduction in overall dust whatsoever.
In fact, after I turned the unit off for an hour to observe the large build-up of dust STILL on my TV and surrounding items,
I turned it back on, only to see a VERY LARGE dust cloud blow OUTWARD into the air that had accumulated on top of the Oreck unit!
Not only had the unit FAILED to get rid of the dust, but it also BLEW it out into the air I was breathing.
In theory, this unit is SUPPOSED to REMOVE the dust from the air, but it only BLOWS it into the air, giving me a greater opportunity and chance for respiratory problems later.
Gee, thank you very much David Oreck.
Not only is this unit worthless, but so is their sales and service staff that I made contact with at their local Oreck stores.
Their sales and service guy was EXTREMELY rude to me, and it took them 3 weeks to get my Oreck serviced, when it was only supposed to take 3-4 days at the most.
Even when I called to complain about this to the Oreck company on the East Coast, I was placated with feeble attempts at understanding, and was then offered a bottle of their Air cleaner as a free gift for my troubles with their rude Oreck sales and service man, but they NEVER sent it to me, so they lied about that as well.
I am DONE with Oreck, and never will buy or use their products ever again. With what I went through, I am amazed that this company is still in business.
If it were possible, I would have given this so-called "air cleaner" (LOL!) ZERO stars.
Protec DynaFilter Humidifier Cartridge, Air Cleaning, 3 ct.

I received them on time and I would truly recommend them to others. They are easy to install and last about 3 moths before having to replace them. Thanks so much.
JDHard to find in local stores this filter fits a particular humidifier I used when the humidity gets really low.

No need to spend more money for the OE filters. I see no cost cutting compared to the OE part. Great value when buying this package of three filters.Want Protec DynaFilter Humidifier Cartridge, Air Cleaning, 3 ct. Discount?
I have searched when shopping and could not find the filters for my Vicks Humidifier. Thank you for having them. There are 3 new cartridges in the box. They look just like the cartridges that came with my new humidifier. The only difference that I notice is that the white filter is not as thick as my original one. The cartridge fits the humidifier and I am happy to have been able to find them.Sunday, August 24, 2014
AC-819 Duracraft Humidifier Wick Filter (3 Pack)

The filter was shipped in a timely manner and the price was very good. The only problem I have with the filter is that it is not cut exactly to the dimensions of the filter holders in the humidifier. I had to trim some of the filters to get them to fit otherwise the plastic holders would not close.Read Best Reviews of AC-819 Duracraft Humidifier Wick Filter (3 Pack) Here
I had to stuff the edges in a bit, but once I got them in, they worked fine. I would purchase them again.Want AC-819 Duracraft Humidifier Wick Filter (3 Pack) Discount?
There is a reason these are so cheap... They do not wick. With the originals I was going through 3 gallons a day. Bought these and the water seemed to never run out. These do not work.BIONAIRE 911DCS Replacement Electret Filter

If you have a Bionaire console humidifier, you need these filters, which should be replaced roughly every two months. But as much as I enjoy using Amazon (been a Prime member for years), this is not the product to purchase from Amazon. Call Bionaire directly. Instead of complaining about getting a non-Bionaire replacement, you'll get the genuine product, often for less. As I write this, they are having a 40% off sale on filters -filters

Livart Dual-spray Humidifier (L-282M)

Dual directions for the humidifier to point its "spray" with the spouts.
A vast array of humidity to choose from, from 40-80%.
A "warm" humidity function.
Night light.
Low, Med, High amount of humidity adjustments in "spray", so you can have tons of water released, or a more moderate amount. Useful for overnight use!
The only problem--I wish I can afford more than one! :)

This is a great humidifier. It puts out a consistent mist and works like a jet. Should be a five star review. Good luck trying to find filters for it.UPDATE: You can get the filters at H-Mart but they're not always in stock.

We are so pleased with the amount of water this humidifier puts into the air as well as the quiet. We have tried using a crockpot (not enough)as well as a cheap humidifier (noisy). Excellent product and worth every penny!Read Best Reviews of Pure Guardian H1500 Ultrasonic Midsize Manual Humidifier Here
I'm surprised about the negative reviews. I have had mine for almost 6 months and run it every night. I have done nothing to it yet, except to add water every night ( I should clean it). No white dust neither.Want Pure Guardian H1500 Ultrasonic Midsize Manual Humidifier Discount?
I purchased two of these humidifiers about a year ago. I run them each every night and they both work well. Humidifier is quiet and produces a good amount of mist for a bedroom. The difference in the room with and without the humidifier is easily notable. Tank is large enough to easily run the humidifier for 12 hours.Blooming Bath Baby Bath

Greatest thing ever!!! Purchased for my grandson..wish I had one when I had my babies.Very soft and thick enough to comfort baby. Comes up high enough to support baby's head and no worry of the head getting injured around the sink. My grandson loves it. He is 6 weeks old and thinks he is in salon being pampered.
Also purchased the wash cloths. Very soft and good size. Just squeeze out water and place in dryer.
Jan. 30, 2012 update. For the price, you won't be able to use this very long. The baby will outgrow it quickly. Very hard to dry and squeeze out the water with your hands. Very heavy when wet. I had to learn to fold it up as good as I could, then roll in towel to get all the excess water out and then put in dryer. Takes for ever to dry. If not completely dry, I would be afraid it would mildew quickly. Change my rating to a 3Love the blooming bath for a newborn! Received this as a gift for my third baby. Previously used plastic baby tub which did the trick for my other children. The blooming bath is a luxury item that I found is really worth buying. I use this in the bathroom sink and this bath makes everything so much easier. First fill the sink with warm water, place the blooming bath in the water only soaking the bottom of the flower (if you get the petals too wet they will quickly get cold). Place baby in blooming bath and position the baby on one of the petals to support back and head. Use your hand to help keep your newborn stable. Bathe as normal and watch your baby enjoy the luxury of the softness and warmth of this bath. When finished, pull the plug on the sink so the bath can drain while attending to the wet baby. Later on, hang the bath in the shower to drip dry and use the dryer on low to finish drying the damp bath. This bath is like a wet stuffed animal when it is soaked, it will not dry properly in the dryer unless you allow it to partially drip dry or you spin it in the washer first. It also washes well so you can freshen it every so often by running it with some laundry.By far the best bathtub for my baby! It makes bath time so much easier & I love the fact that I don't have to hurt my back by leaning over the tub. It provides enough cushion & support for baby & fits different size sinks too. Definitely recommend! :)
