The main body of this filter is about 1/16-1/8" taller than the original, as is the loop/handle on the top. All of this makes it difficult to screw the lid back on the canister. I thought I'd have to return the filter, but figured out that if you rotate the filter, you'll eventually find a 'sweet spot' that will let you slide the lid back into place (though it's still a difficult to close).I have to say I'm surprised by the ill-fit. I'm fairly certain that my last filter was also a Honeywell replacement (but one purchased at Target), and it fit just like the original Eureka filter. Perhaps the manufacturing process isn't precise... In any case, I would look for a different replacement.
