Prestige Import Group the Chateau Small Humidor (Cherry)

At first glance this is not a bad little humidor for under $20 bucks. But when you compare it to similar priced boxes by company's like quality imports also available on Amazon this thing falls WAY short. The box is made of Very Little wood i'd say 98% of it construction is some sort of particle board. The inside is lined with the thinnest of cedar veneer and the outside paper thin almost sticker like cherry wood veneer. The Seal is a joke as there is not much of a lip to create a tight seal. I have a small unit from Quality Importers I got on Amazon that actually had small magnets inside the Real Wood lid and body that gave extra seal and was about the same price as this unit. My recommendation Even if you are a casual smoker or novice. Save yourself and your cigars the trouble pay an extra $5 bucks and get the Quality imports version.

This is a great buy! Much cheaper than available elsewhere! The only issue is that there is no instruction manual for how to fill the chamber and what to do, so you're on your own with that!

Followed directions, smelled nothing, Doubled suggested amounts and still nothing unless you sticking your nose in the exhaust vents of the humidifier, stand up, and smell nothing. ALSO, for first time in 3 years with this humidifier I have what looks like hard water buildup on bottom of the tray, never built up before only now when using the smell sweet junk that doesn't work..... Can't be positive, but I'm blaming it on this stuff.

Waste of money, I have one of those automatic air freshener's and just stuck one of them in front of the humidifier, when it goes off the humidifier pushes the scent all around the room, works for me.

I am disappointed with this product. In order to get enough of a scent to enjoy, you have to use a lot and that creates too many bubbles when filling my humidifier.

Sometimes the humidifier has a slightly old smell to it but this seems to clear it up immediately. It is a little expensive but it does the job along with water and scale treatment.

I have a Holmes cool mist humidifier I use every night. Adding this scent to the water refreshes the room and helps curb mildew build-up in between washes. Highly recommended.

I have used this solution in my humidor for several years now. It works just like it says. I haven't had any issues with it holding the appropriate humidity and I also haven't had any of the leakage problems that previous reviewers wrote about. I think that if you use it correctly and keep the bottle upright that you won't have any issues. I have a large humidor that holds quite a few cigars and it hasn't affected the taste of the cigars. They still taste great and I will continue using this solution because it has worked great so far.

I get overheated easily and needed a way to cool off without lugging around a lot of equipment. This little guy definitely did the job! I managed to survive in Universal Orlando in the middle of summer, which is no small feat for me. For something so tiny and lightweight, it really does its job well. I wanted to laugh at the people lugging around the giant mister/fan combos they sell at the parks. Not too hard to fill the reservoir, which I did from my water bottle. I even crammed it into my purse for a roller coaster ride and although I smushed the blades a little, I straightened them out by hand and it started up again just fine. Lasted for ages on the battery-I ended up taking out the battery to store it before it ran down.

Admittedly I'm a gadget freak. When I saw this, I thought it was a great idea, but wasn't too sure about the durability. It looks like a toy, but it is very effective! Best of all, it's small and works great. The mist is fine and it doesn't leak. This must-have goes in my hot-day, walk-around bag.

Jarden Consumer Heater SCM1762-UM Sunbeam Cool Mist Humidifier, 0.96-Gallon

There are 2 fan speed settings, but there is no shut-off when it reaches the desired humidity level. Also, there are handles on the top and bottom of the water container, but they are in terrible places. The handle on the bottom is on the front, but it is tallest on the back. This makes it lean so much that you can't fill the tank fully while holding it just by this handle. Since it tapers toward the top, it will fall over if you just turn it upside down. The handle on the top is also at an edge, so the tank leans and tries to slide out of your hand. Since the tank is smaller at the top than the bottom, it is hard to tell how much of the water it has used. On the bright side, the cap at the bottom is large enough to refill from a bathtub.

They put in a slide adjustment at the base that is for longer run times. This just opens vents in the bottom center so air can go through the bottom out the fan without passing over the wick. This is a silly feature, just turn the fan down to low or turn it off sometimes. Make sure the slider is at the low side of the bar (left) which makes it put out the most humidity.

This is a great unit for the price. Simple to use and creates great white noise to sleep by. Good unit, great buy for sure.
