Nice look. This thermostat is really easy to install and setup. The program allow you to setup for 5 days (Week) and 2 days (weekend). So you can setup your a/c to turn off during the weeks days you are out working, but keep a nices temperature on the weekend so you can sleep a little bit more.

This thermostat (Aprilaire 840 series) was installed with a new furnace.... and initally worked fine, but as fall began, we felt unaccountably cold... the mystery was solved when the furnace guy figured out that the thermostat was turning on the air conditioner even though it was set for heat.... this is the second one of this brand that failed him... he isn't using them any more... neither would we.

I bought it to replace my programmable Honeywell (older model). Installation was a breeze, set-up quite easy if you have documentation handy. Recirculation feature is the thing that made me buy this model and I'm delighted to say that it works. Temperature throughout the house is more even than before, and in wintertime having some air circulation is a nice thing too.

This is a great thermostat. It was eaasy to install and I did it myslef in a little under 30 minutes. It works great. Great service it was delivered within 3 days.

I have had it for almost 2 months and am quite satisfied with my purchase.

I did a lot of research before picked this one up. At $55, this one has all the advanced settings that only available on the Profession version of some other name brands. Other than being accessed remotely (WIFI or wired network), it has all the functions one will ever need. Of course I picked this model because I don't want the network feature.

It took me about 15 min to install. I use battery since I don't have the wire installed to provide the power to the unit. It turns on and off precisely at the temperatures I set. It also provides restart time delay and restart temp range setting to protect the AC/Heating equipment and for energy saving. The LCD is well lit. It is crystal clear reading from top down, but not from lower angle up. I want to believe the viewing angle is a design feature since a Thermostat is usually installed below the eye level of an adult. The kids might be less encouraged to mess with it, since they can't see anything looking up or at the eye level. Buttons are responsive. I don't find the setting is any hard to navigate at all.

The only thing I can't find is the battery level indicator and filter change alert on LCD which the manual stated it has.

I have not used any support, so no comments there.

I will buy again to replace the rest of the thermostats in my house if this one proves to be reliable and long lasting.

Glass-Top Humidor (75-100 Cigars)

I have been impressed since the time I opened the box that this humidor came in. It matches some of my black stained wood furniture perfectly and has been holding a perfect 70% humidity. I have an additional electronic hydrometer inside, so the glass is a nice touch. It holds a lot of cigars and it works as promised! Well worth twice the money in my opinion.

I have had this humidor for over a year now and it is great. I love the glass top. it comes with 2 dividers for the bottom and 1 for the top tray. You can stack the top tray 3 deep pretty easy and the bottom 3-4 deep as well.The setup that it comes with is pretty akward as the humidifier is huge and takes up valuable cigar space. I tossed that and went with a jar of crystals and it holds right a 70. I recommend using the salt method to calibrate the gauge as it was a little off, but after adjusting it was all good. 75-100 capacity is pretty accurate with my setup, but as is subtract 10-20. I have about 100 in mine now. I seasoned mine with distilled water in a shot glass as opposed to wiping the inside. My buddies who wiped their other humidors had trouble with theirs.

I recently received this humidor, and absolutely have no regrets about my purchase. The quality of this box is excellent with no signs of defects. The top closes properly and holds humidity levels perfectly. The design and eye appeal are amazing, and give this humidor the look of a much more expensive product. The black finish complements the black and nickel theme of my office, and instantly draws you to the humidor. The built-in hygrometer does not accurately display the correct humidity level, although this is common with most stock built-in hygrometers. I purchased this box in conjunction with a Xikar digital hygrometer and Boveda seasoning/humidity control packets to create an easy and functional home humidor system that keeps my cigars in great shape while doubling as a great art/conversation piece. I recently got a great new humidor for my cigars and I live in Colorado. It's almost impossible to keep the humidity up so I've been known to use a shot glass full of distilled water, drymistat tubes and several other options (all at the same time) to try and keep it up. The idea of an automatic humidifier appealed to me, but I didn't like the aesthetics of using a plug-in one and snaking the cable on the wall.

The Cigar Oasis appealed to me because it comes with both a battery pack and a power cord (with a small ribbon cable that can fit between the hings on your humidor).

I put new batteries in, set it to 70 and let it sit in my humidor for a week. My hygrometer in my humidor never went above 60, even tho the Cigar Oasis said it was 80%. I contacted support and they said it was set to 70% at the factory and that I should try it plugged in but that if I was confident in my hygrometer reading it included instructions for how to recalibrate it. I did that and messed with it daily for the next week or so and it never really helped.

2 weeks in it ran out of water (supposed to last at least 3 months). I refilled it with distilled water and the next day the batteries died (supposed to last 3-6 months).

I finally gave up and plugged it in. A couple days later it seems to be running perfectly, altho I now need to recalibrate it again. I hate the look of the plug, but what are you going to do?

So, end result, it works great plugged in. On batteries it sucks power and never quite works right.

Galleria End Table Humidor

This humidor is the centre piece for any aficionado. Elegantly designed and constructed. Is has a pull out dividing draw on top which in my opinion is not needed. To my surprise it comes with a power pack so you can hook up an electronic humidifier if you need to. It has a cut out hole for the power pack so no cutting needed and also four screws to put it in place.

A word of advice. When putting the power pack in its place place some clear silicon around it to seal up any gaps . Remember if you have gaps then the humidity will escape . You MUST do this before you season the humidor . Place some clear silicone on the outside too and from the inside just to be 110% sure you seal up any gaps and let it sit over night to cure.

As this is curing grab a damp scent free cloth. Be sure to use distilled water . Wipe down all areas in the humidor including all trays and dividers. Place 3 short shot glasses of distilled water only on the bottom , middle and top ( in the tray ) and leave for a few days until the humidor seasons and the cedar has stabilized .

The only thing that I don't like about this is that the top draw doesn't lock it just stays shut. Only the bottom door locks and is held in place by magnets which is nice.

It says it holds 600 cigars but if you are like me and like to smoke 60 x 6 size cigars you will probably fit 450. 600 cigars if you only store small petite cigars ( Acid blondie belicosso or Arturo Fuente Hemingway ). Or plenty of room to store your cigars in there original boxes

All in all I highly recommend thus product . It looks nice and should do the job of keeping humidity intact if you look after it and season it well enough

We have gone through many humidifiers over the years and we have tried everything every type, every brand and this is a product category dominated by lemons. This Essick humidifier is a gem. It is easy to install and setup, has a decemt hygrostat (humidity gauge), and has a full digital LCD screen. We have not had issues with white dust which plagues other humidifiers. My only minor complaint is the power and fan speed control are the same button; when you hold down the button to turn it off, the fan turns down one speed and you have to cycle through to get the original speed when turning it back on. Very minor nuisance.

We liked our first so much we bought a second for the family room. Would recommend to anyone and we are considering buying a third one. We will never buy another humidifier brand.

After researching the heck out of every sort of humidifier on the planet within an "average" price range, I decided on this Essick Air unit.

Essick's reputation for quality and customer service were the deciding factors in my purchase. The humidifier was delivered with a broken tab on the front grill, no big deal but this was a new item. I picked up the phone and spoke with a REAL person at Essick 4 days later a new grill arrived.

There seems to be no real difference in the construction of the majority of humidifiers out there. Almost all are made in China, almost all priced "about" the same and almost all work most of the time.

The difference will be in the company behind the product.

This unit works well. The tanks are easy to fill at the sink. The replacement wicks are readily available and inexpensive for the life you'll get out of them. Fan settings on 3 and 4 are loud, more than just background noise I keep mine on 2 and it isn't bad. The built in digital meter is nice as well as the pre-set feature.

I ordered the unit on Amazon, it was sold by Uncle Joe's. Their true to their word so far as processing and shipping and had the best price at the time,$78.00. I would buy from again.

I recommend this unit for a medium size apartment or smaller house.

Buy one size larger than what you think you'll need, my only regret is that I listened to my wife and didn't. Here in the NE when it gets cold it gets real dry real fast.

We bought one of these a little less than 3 years ago. The water tanks that came with it leaked immediately. I called Essick customer service and they sent (free of charge) new, redesigned tanks that worked fine. The unit gave out about a month ago. I called customer service and explained the problem to them. They said that it sounded like the fan motor was finished, so that is the end of this humidifier. They only have a one year warranty, so I'm out of luck. We paid around $90 for this, so that's around $30 per year. I won't be buying another Essick product.

I recommend this product. Works great! Would not turn on out-of-the-box so I emailed customer service. They wrote right back to me (Yes, even the same day!!) and told me what the problem was and clear instructions as to how to fix it. Worked great after I got it going. Customer service gets a 5-star rating. Humidifier I give 4-stars. I would give it 5-stars, but I find the fan a bit noisy on the two higher settings.

I had owned my Essick Air humidifier for about a year before the motor stopped working. I was running my humidifier at the highest humidity level and fastest fan speed 24/7 for five months. I contacted Essick Air's customer service department and they told me to ship it to them, with a free shipping label, and they would either repair it or replace it. I never got around to it and was not in dire need of the replacement or repair due to the apartment I was living in but moved again and suddenly needed it due to the dry radiant heaters of my new place. I contacted Essick Air again and, due to the generous two year warranty on the motor, received a brand new replacement without requiring me to ship the defective model back to them. I am happy to say that I have received my new humidifier and the air in my apartment is pleasantly moist and my sinuses are relieved! Thanks Essick Air!
