My husband and I love this product. Our little guy has been very active since day one! Even in the hospital, while recovering from a c-section, he was un-swaddling himself in the regular receiving blankets. At first we just figured that it wasn't a big deal; until he would wake himself up constantly doing the "startle reflex" or wiggling. So... at 3 days old we used the one I received as a gift at my shower. This blanket helped him to stay cozy and swaddled tightly during naps and night time sleep. As soon as we were discharged we went and purchased 3 more. We are still using them today, at 4 months, and couldn't be happier. We have the cotton ones, they are light weight and very durable. They have held up very well through many washings. I would recommend these to everyone, including my own friends and family.

We bought two Swaddlemes and I tried one on little one before washing it. It was great and the fabric was a light enough weight for Texas summers. However, I washed them as the instructions stated and since they are 100% cotton, they still shrunk!! My baby didn't even get to use them once! It says to wash them in cold water and dry with low heat. I suggest washing them like they said, cold water but dry with no heat or air dry.

My wife is an ER peds nurse and when she was pregnant, during her shower she got a pack of these. She looked at me and said "These are dumb, I know how to swaddle!". Well, the first night home, we used one of these, let's just say 4 weeks later we've NEVER swaddled our little one in a blanket. We even purchased more of these as well as a set for gifts.
I think the best part of these are the at the 2am and 4am changes/feedings, you don't have to fight with a blanket, just slid them in the sack and velcro the thing closed, can be done in under 15 seconds and it won't come undone, regardless how much the little one moves.
The fleece ones are really nice and warm and go good with normal cotton sleepers. We bought the cotton ones for when we put him in a fleece sleeper. This way the little one won't get too hot either way, yet is still swaddled.
We didn't have any issues with shrinking.

I bought these because my squirmy son could bust out of any swaddling blanket in seconds. There's no squirming out of these! We use them every time the baby goes down to sleep at night and for most of his daytime naps as well. He gets much better rest when we swaddle him with these than if we don't. They keep him from startling himself and they calm him down. Putting him in his Swaddleme is part of our nighttime ritual. I turn off the lights and put the white noise on, then get him swaddled, then hold him, shushing and patting his back until he is almost asleep. Then I put him in his crib, still awake, and he calms himself off to sleep within 5-10 minutes. We would be lost without these. I just bought a package of the larger size. We will swaddle until he outgrows the Swaddleme!

The entire concept seems like a scam. You plug this thing into the wall and it pumps out soothing, moisture-filled air that allows a congested person to rest easier. I laughed when I first read about them. But once again, my inner cynic was forced to admit error. These things help my children sleep when they have a cold. The filter replacements are easy to install and keep the entire apparatus free of mold and bacteria. I've been using the same Humidifier for over ten years, simply by keeping it clean and changing the filters regularly. I mock no longer.
