CIGAR OASIS XL PLUS Automatic Electronic Humidifier for Humidor

Have owned the Oasis XL for several years, dog chewed through electric wire to wall. Now, have upgraded to the XL Plus for my 300 stick humidor, and, voila, the BEST! Set it and forget it. The water reservoir is huge, have tried to fill it again after two weeks running, but it had remained mostly full. Digital light remains on all the time, but have been told this is normal. Set it at 71 and it remains at 71, with fan turning on only occasinally, as needed. Cigars nice and moist, but not too moist, just right. Do it!

small investment in my top of the line cigars. I have like

many cigar smokers struggled with the worry of keeping cigars

I replaced an older version Oasis with this one. I got over 7 years of service from the last one and, probably just needed to replace the reservoir, but I decided to go for the newer, digital version.

Like the older version it is a bit noisy when running, not enough to be a real bother, but I would think it could be more quiet. I use this in a 350 cigar humidor which is usually packed and it does a very nice job of maintaining a constant humidity. The digital display added nothing really, in my case. Since the unit is placed at the bottom of the humidor,and since there is some restricted air flow (good, not great design on the part of the humidor, still most humidors I have seen are similar) the readout on the Oasis is indicative of where it is sitting, not necessarily the entire humidor. In my case, to get a constant average 70% humidity across the humidor, I needed to set the Oasis to 74%.

All in all a good product and I was very satisfied with the performance and lifespan of the older version that I had.

Starting Small Novelty Hamper

This is adorable. Can hold about three loads of laundry. Quality appears fine by my eyes. Be CAREFUL when opening the package. I almost lost an eyeball!!

Some of the hampers I looked at were actually rather small when you looked at the dimensions, but this is about the size of a standard pop-up hamper. It does have 4 plastic rods instead of being all wire (you'd have to take these out to fold it back up into that little circle) but since I have no intention of folding it up except for moving that's not an issue. I like that it's more of a rectangle shape and I can slide it sideways if I need it to take up a little less wall space.

This hamper is definitely bigger than most baby hampers. It fits a lot of baby laundry. The top is completely open and the sides are made of mesh. I really liked this hamper, but unfortunately I had to throw it out because my dog could smell the dirty laundry through the mesh and tried to eat through the mesh every day. It is super cute and I would definitely recommend this hamper. Be careful when you first open it up out of the package, it opens up very fast! make sure you stand back.

Got this home and the hubby was putting in the support rods and the hamper ripped. The material does seem thin and cheap. I really loved the look and the size ( I was actually going to use it for storing diapers). I reluctantly returned it.

These jars do a really good job for the cost. I have 2 150 count humidors that I could never get over 60% humidity, adding these humidifiers brought the humidity up to 68% and keeps it there.

Just received my Ci-Gel Clear Jar Humidifier. Having never used such an item, I was very disappointed that there were no directions in the package. I have no idea whether to use it as is or fill with distilled water. I've been searching the web for suggestions but so far no luck. This may be a very good product but without directions it is useless to me.

amazon listing says "re-use these again and again by just adding distilled water!"; received item says "refill with Xikar Propylene Glycol Solution" (which costs $12 shipped, for an 8-oz bottle).

amazon listing says "3 ounce capacity"; received item is marked "2 fl oz." this may be a discrepancy between ounces (weight) and fluid ounces (volume), but it does make this item appear to be 50% larger than competing items, which are all advertised as "2 oz".

if i'd known this, i would have ordered the item with Ci-Gel in the title, for $3 less.

i think i will simply refill with distilled water anyway, and when it stops maintaining proper humidity, replace it with the (more expensive) heartfelt beads, which appear to be very popular with cigar smokers.

I ordered cigar caddy humidor canisters (Ci-Gel Cigar Humidor Humidifier Gel, 2-Ounce) at 6.49 a piece i ordered 4 and was charged for 4 at this price! my package arrived today with a different cheaper brand with blue lid at 2.49 a piece a total of 4. the package looks cheap and not of good quality :((
