Hunter 31920 EnduraWick Replacement Filter for 32512 Carefree Humidifier

I can't ding the product for my water supply. I have hard water, and my 10-gallon humidifier gets this water. It's not worth trying to use my kitchen water purifier to get soft water.

Anyway, this product works as described. I always buy them in bulk, as I don't know when the filters gets that musty smell and have to be replaced. Again, not the fault of the product just don't use them with hard water.

The product works exactly as it should. It fit my hunter humidifier perfectly as I expected it would. For anyone that has one of these humidifiers you know how well they work.

I travel and stay in hotle for my business. In the winter hotel rooms are notoriously dry, I bought this because of the size. I packed it in a small toiletry bag and it fits nicely in my suitcase. Running it at about half on the dial and it ran all night, cranked it up to high and it lasts a couple hours. It's not too loud, others I have had bubbled so loudly I was unable to sleep. The reason for only 4 stars is the light on it. the blue on light is very bright and I like darkness when I sleep. It glowed enough that I could easily see my way around the unfamiliar room without turning on lights. And it's not just a small LED one can put a piece of black tape over, the while unit glows. It doesn't mean I don't like it, it works just fine for what it does.

1st night used and it leaked all over my nightstand. The leak is fairly slow (so I didn't initially notice it) but put a large volume of water all over the nightstand.

This product is very poorly made; I strongly recommend considering another option and hope that Amazon will reconsider carrying it.

We have the "Hello Kitty" humidifier and I bought this filter in the hopes of reducing the white dust from the humidifier, but all that ended up happening was that the water in the humidifier turned a dingy yellow-brown color and my daughter's room FILLED with white dust. We had to open the windows and turn on the attic fan just to clear it all out. I'm not sure why this happened. I followed the directions on the box (although it's 100% fool proof, all you have to do is place the filter in the base of the unit). We're actually better off without a filter and I'll be returning this for a refund.

What a horrible product! I thought that some of the negative reviews could have been a bad batch of filters. Well, that wasn't the case. I used the filter in the humidifier, rinsed it out before use, and in the morning, the water turned brown. It was awful. Not only was the water brown in the bottom of the humidifier, but the mist was brown too (saw the droplets on the stand). Don't even bother with this product. AWFUL!

I bought the Hello Kitty humidifier for my daughter before I realized that it used a different filter than the Crane Duck humidifier I bought my son. It was frustrating that they didn't match, but I like the way the Hello Kitty filter works much better and the next humidifier I purchase will be compatible with this type of filter. It takes a minute to get the water flowing through the filter, but it seems to catch any "white dust" that would otherwise come out. And when i take it out of the humidifier and set it by the sink, it seems to dry out nicer than the other filter. Added bonus: my 2 year old likes to help set up the humidifers and can insert this one by himself.

When I first received this the small white ring would not fit over the grey tube at all. After contacting the seller they promptly sent me another set and the white ring was correctly on the tube. After getting this resolved the install was straight forward.

After install be sure to test the water flow to make sure it is at a fast drip. Even though the directions say to run your water valve completely open, some homes will have too high of water pressure and push more water through the tube than needed.

I broke the feed tube to my aprilaire humidifier while performing maintenance on the water grid inside. This part was an easy to install replacement. Works very well.

Hooked it up and it seems to work as described. It's measured value in the 65-75% range agrees with the reading from my room dehumidifier but reads 8-10% higher than the hygrometer in my weather station. Been using it for the last couple weeks hooked up to an electrostatic humidifier and so far so good.
